Position: Valet Attendant
About: Drive, park, and retrieve guest/visitor vehicles as they arrive and depart from the Woodlands Resort, courteously, safely, and efficiently according to the hotel’s standards. Responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of departmental policies/services, equipment maintenance, anticipating guest needs, ensuring positive guest relations, and providing assistance with luggage and parking procedures. Qualifications include a valid (state) driver’s license, excellent driving record, local area knowledge, vehicle driving experience, fluency in English, and the ability to drive all vehicle types and provide clear communication and directions. Must be able to work in variable weather conditions, maintain confidentiality, work well in a team, and prioritize guest needs.
Requirements: Valid (state) driver’s license; Excellent driving record; Thorough knowledge of local areas and roads; Experience in driving vehicles; Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal; Able to drive all types of vehicles; Compute basic arithmetic; Provide legible communication and directions; Ability to drive all vehicle types, provide legible communication and direction, use a beeper/radio, focus on guests’ needs, prioritize, organize, and make good judgments; Maintain concentration and think clearly under all driving conditions; Work in variable weather conditions; Ensure security of vehicles and hotel property; Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data; Perform assignments with minimal supervision; Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
