Position: Utility Worker – Kitchen Assistant
About: The Saint Francis House is seeking a Utility Worker – Kitchen Assistant to maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen and dining room, manage dining room tasks, assist in meal preparation, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. The role involves performing sanitation duties regularly and supporting kitchen operations as needed.
Requirements: High school degree or equivalent required; further education in culinary arts a plus; six months of kitchen and dining room experience required; completion of a culinary training program desirable but not required; ability to obtain and maintain ServSafe Certification; experience in homeless services a plus; lived experience with homelessness and/or recovery a plus; human service shelter or program experience a plus; bilingual in Spanish a plus
