Position: UTILITY STEWARD (Culinary Arts)
About: OSU INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, School of Arts Sciences and Health in Okmulgee, Oklahoma is seeking a Utility Steward to provide assistance to chefinstructors and staff, maintaining dish room, operating dishwashing machine, restocking dishes, and ensuring effective functioning of kitchen and instructional spaces.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred; previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; in-depth knowledge of kitchen safety and health regulations; valid Oklahoma driver’s license may be required; ability to work evenings, weekends, and special events; able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods; excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills; must be customer-service oriented and maintain a neat appearance.
