Position: US Seasonal Labor Coordinator
About: The Seasonal Labor Coordinator will work in tandem with the Senior Seasonal Labor Coordinator, LAC and the Ministry of Labor of Guatemala to bolster the Seasonal Labor Program, securing work visas for U.S. and Canada. By connecting with potential U.S. employers, they will promote Guatemala as a destination for workers. This role is pivotal in supporting the USAID Guatemala Migration Office’s mission to promote safe, regular migration and economic opportunity to Guatemalans and reduce irregular migration.
Requirements: Bachelor’s in relevant field; 5 years working with USAID or USAID programming; Ability to work in the United States and travel to Guatemala for work; Experience working with USAID and USAID systems; Experience or Knowledge of USAID Guatemala’s Labor Mobility programming; Knowledge of the labor situation and migration situation in Guatemala to advocate to US Employers and to the LAC Migration team on policy
