Position: Travel Sterile Processing Technician – $1,550 per week
About: The company is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support the operating room team in the care of surgical patients. This role involves preparing and delivering medical/surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures. The technician also cleans, packages, and processes surgical equipment, manages inventory, and uses computer applications for sterilization tracking processes.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) Certification as a Central Processing Technician (CRCST) within 18 months of hire; adaptability to unpredictable situations in the perioperative setting; ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients and staff; ability to lift and carry 25 pounds or more; familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
