About: Ride Together is a GMT travel training program dedicated to assisting community members in becoming familiar with local public transportation options, allowing for increased independence, safety, and confidence of our riders. GMT Travel Advisors play a vital role in providing assistance and support to individuals seeking to become more familiar with local public transportation. This volunteer position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of fellow community members.
Requirements: – Knowledge of GMT’s local public transportation system; strong communication and teaching skills; ability to be flexible with learning materials for an individualized learning experience; patience and empathy for individuals with diverse learning needs; punctuality and reliability; willingness to undergo any necessary background checks or training; customer service experience preferred but not required.
