Position: Transportation Manager
About: US Foods is a leading foodservice distributor in the United States, dedicated to providing a wide range of food products to restaurants, healthcare and hospitality facilities, government operations, and educational institutions. They are currently seeking a Safety-Driven Transportation Supervisor to oversee and develop drivers and transportation associates, ensuring a strong emphasis on safety procedures and departmental efficiency.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred; minimum of three years of experience in transportation/delivery or warehouse distribution required; minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce required; broad knowledge of transportation/delivery operations, methods and procedures; strong leadership, communication, and people development skills; strong understanding of DOT requirements; familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements; ability to interpret financial and operational data; basic computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office)
