Position: Transportation Manager
About: US Foods is looking for a Safety-Focused Transportation Supervisor to lead and develop drivers and Transportation associates while maintaining a safety-first culture in the Transportation department. This role involves overseeing driver training, productivity, and safety measures to ensure efficient and safe delivery operations. The position requires working closely with the Sr. Transportation Managers to address performance gaps and build high-performing teams that align with US Foods values and goals.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; minimum of three years of experience in transportation/delivery or warehouse distribution required; minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce required; experience as a driver a plus; broad knowledge of transportation/delivery operations, methods, and procedures; strong leadership, communication, and people development skills; strong understanding of DOT requirements; familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements; ability to interpret financial and operational data; basic computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office)
