Position: Trade Show Usher
About: United Security Services Inc. offers many opportunities for career development & progression. We are event service professionals with hospitality focused training. Our event team thrives on providing exceptional customer service, by maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests & fellow facility personnel. This position is part-time, on call, meaning we have work available when there are events we are staffing at various facilities in Chicago and suburbs. You will be required to work weekends and holidays.
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age; Must be able to walk and/or stand for 8 hours. May be required to climb stairs/ramps; Flexible availability and must be able to work on weekends, holidays and in various locations (Chicago and suburbs); Must have reliable transportation for various schedules; Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and maintain excellent customer service skills; Must be able to clearly speak, read and write English. Bi-lingual preferred but not required; Previous event experience preferred; Valid PERC card and 20 Hour Training Certificate preferred or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire; Must be eligible to work in the United States; CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
