Position: Tourism Group Sales Coordinator

About: Loveland, a vibrant community in northern Colorado known as the Sweetheart City, is seeking a dynamic individual to promote and sell Loveland as a convention and meetings destination. The position, within Economic Development’s Visit Loveland division, involves executing successful sales strategies to secure targeted room night revenue and economic impact goals for the destination, establishing a strong presence in the meetings industry, and serving as the primary liaison for signature events.

Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, Business Administration or related field required; 3 years experience in a role similar to, or related to, being an owner, officer or coordinator of a visitor services organization, destination management organization or visitors and convention bureau, chamber, hotel or economic development organization required; Must possess a valid driver’s license; Extensive industry experience and knowledge including DMO and/or convention center experience, good understanding of food and beverage, events, and operations; Ability and willingness to travel, attend local, state, regional and national events on evenings and/or weekends; Knowledge of Northern Colorado preferred
