Position: TOOL ROOM ATTENDANT
About: Atlas is currently seeking a Tool Room Attendant to manage the inventory, issuance, and maintenance of tools, equipment, and supplies within the machine shop. The role involves ensuring smooth workflow by maintaining tool availability, tracking usage, and adhering to safety and organizational standards. Additionally, the Tool Room Attendant will handle purchase orders to vendors and maintain positive relationships to ensure timely procurement of tools and materials.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; proficient computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems; basic knowledge of industrial tools and equipment; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; experience with vendor management or purchasing is a plus; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; occasional overtime or weekend work may be required based on production needs
