Position: Third Cook
About: El Taco at HMSHost located in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is seeking a Third Cook to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for food production, preparation, and presentation, ensuring high-quality products are served to customers. This position reports to the Manager, Assistant Manager, or Operations Director as per local requirements.
Requirements: Requires 1-2 years of culinary experience; experience in a high-volume casual dining restaurant environment preferred; introductory level food knowledge; basic knife cutting skills; knowledge of dry and moist cooking methods; food preparation skills and understanding of HACCP standards; working knowledge of kitchen equipment; ability to handle different food groups; adaptability to new menu items and cooking techniques; proficiency in fast-paced environments; multitasking capabilities; familiarity with weights, measures, and cooking techniques; good communication and customer service skills; ability to lift and/or move 40 lbs; physical stamina for bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods; comfortable with hands-on work in water and hot environments.
