Position: Third Cook
About: Longhorn Steakhouse located at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is looking for a dedicated Third Cook to join their team. The role involves food production, preparation, and presentation to ensure high-quality service to customers. The position reports to the Manager, Assistant Manager, or Operations Director and requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
Requirements: Requires 1-2 years of culinary experience; experience in a high-volume casual dining restaurant preferred; introductory level food knowledge; basic knife cutting skills; knowledge of dry and moist cooking methods; food preparation skills and understanding of HACCP standards; familiarity with various kitchen equipment; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; good communication and customer service skills; must be able to lift and move 40 lbs; ability to stand for extended periods and work in a hot environment
