Position: Third Cook
About: The Pecan at HMSHost in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is currently seeking a Third Cook to join their team. The Third Cook will be responsible for food production, preparation, and presentation, ensuring high-quality service to customers.
Requirements: Requires 1-2 years of culinary experience; experience working in a high-volume casual dining restaurant environment preferred; introductory level food knowledge; basic level of knife cutting skills; fundamentals of dry and moist cooking methods; food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards; working knowledge of kitchen equipment such as grill, fryer, oven, and slicer; basic level skills in handling basic food groups; ability to adapt to changes in new menu items and cooking techniques; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to complete multiple tasks/heavy volume under time constraints; working knowledge of weights, measures, and various cooking techniques; good communication and customer service skills; ability to lift and/or move 40 lbs; ability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods; comfortable working in a hot environment
