Position: The Lindy Renaissance Charleston Hotel – Bartender-Restaurant 2
About: Renaissance Charleston Historic District Hotel, located in the heart of historic downtown Charleston, is seeking a responsible Bartender to prepare and serve food and drink orders, coordinate lounge/bar activities, and ensure compliance with age requirements. The hotel offers elegantly furnished rooms with marble bathrooms, a pool, an on-site restaurant, and meeting/event spaces.
Requirements: Three to six months related experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience; Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations); Ability to read, write, and speak the English language; Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; Ability to manage difficult customer situations and maintain professionalism; Knowledge of, and ability to follow, policies and procedures; Ability to present ideas clearly whether oral or written; Ability to meet work schedule demands and occasionally work outside regular hours
