Position: Temp. Main Dining Room Waiter
About: The New York Athletic Club, a prestigious private club founded in 1868 and located in Central Park South in Manhattan, is seeking full-time Man Dining Room Servers to provide exceptional customer service in an upscale restaurant setting. Responsibilities include greeting and seating members and guests, providing menus, making recommendations, taking food and drink orders, serving, resetting tables, monitoring satisfaction, and maintaining a clean station and menu knowledge. Must collaborate well with Managers, Hosts, Bartenders, Bussers, and kitchen staff.
Requirements: Must work holidays and special events; Knowledge of the POS system; Minimum of 3-4 years in fine dining or upscale restaurant environment; Strong attention to detail; Strong work ethic; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures; Must be flexible in work schedule
