Position: Teller
About: Apple Bank, located in Fordham Rd, NY, is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Teller to join their team. The Teller will be responsible for processing various financial transactions, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring adherence to bank policies and procedures to safeguard customer’s financial well-being.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; minimum 6 months of cash handling or customer service experience required; customer service focus with the ability to actively listen and recommend solutions; strong interpersonal and organizational skills; excellent communication skills (verbal + written); detail-oriented with the ability to function in a fast-paced environment; general math and basic computer skills required; willingness to be cross-trained on non-teller functions; self-motivated and able to multitask effectively; sound judgment and discretion with confidential information; strong work ethic and positive attitude; ability to stand for extended periods and work weekends/extended hours; must be able to work at neighboring branch locations when necessary
