Position: TECHNICIAN, EVS
About: The EVS Technician at CHS is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in rooms, hallways, and common areas within the building, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and following safety guidelines. This role also involves handling garbage disposal and floor maintenance tasks using various equipment and tools to uphold a hygienic environment for all occupants.
Requirements: Knowledge & Experience Requirements: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); Previous experience in a health care setting preferred; Must have knowledge of computer office/clinical software; Must be able to read, write and understand the English language. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 250+ pounds, walk, climb stairs or ladders, stand on feet for extended periods of time, etc.; The employee may work in outside weather conditions and may be exposed to fumes and airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals; Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts.
