Position: Teacher Special Education RISE – Baker Middle School – 2024-2025 School Year

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with the appropriate educational endorsement; valid Washington State teaching certificate; completion of all District-required trainings; fingerprints and successful WSP and FBI background clearance/sexual misconduct clearance; knowledge of applicable Washington State and Federal rules and regulations, subject matter/course content, formative and summative assessments, instructional principles, critical thinking, classroom management, student discipline, and customer service; ability to plan, organize, and coordinate activities, communicate effectively, use informational technology, exercise critical thinking, be flexible, lift and carry up to 20 pounds, and establish effective working relationships with diverse groups.
