Position: Tasting Room Associate + Server
About: King Estate Winery, located in Eugene, Oregon, is looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic, and experienced tasting room associate and server to join their team. The winery, founded in 1991 by the King family, is the largest Biodynamic® certified vineyard in North America, embodying a commitment to sustainable farming.
Requirements: Must have two years of experience + warm and engaging personality; Responsible for presenting King Estate wines to guests; Responsible for achieving wine sales goals and club memberships; Well educated about King Estate story, wines, and vineyards; Demonstrate fine dining service / etiquette; Fulfill duties with precision, finesse, meticulous follow-through; Understand the steps of service, execute them with efficiency and grace in a high-volume setting; Complete opening, closing, and side-work; Perform all other duties assigned by managers as needed; Strong organizational skills, ability to manage priorities and workflow; Reasoning ability skills: can carry out written or oral instructions without problems; Ability to maintain a positive attitude and gracious behavior when environment becomes stressful and fast-paced, and when priorities change; Maintain professional demeanor and dress; Have or ability to obtain a valid OLCC and food handlers card; Flexible schedule required: evenings, weekends, holidays as needed; Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly; Stand, sit, walk for extended periods of time; Stoop, reach, kneel, or crouch, use hands for the duration of shift; The working environment has exposure to both indoors and outdoors
