Position: System Drives Field Service Technician

The role involves executing service work according to quality and safety guidelines, fostering customer retention through timely communication, and contributing to operational improvements for customers.
Requirements: Associates degree in a related field and 2+ years of related work/military experience required; OR HS diploma/GED and 4+ years of related work/military experience required; Understanding of AC and DC drive systems; Experience performing field service engineering for AC and DC coordinated drive systems and using test equipment; analyze and test system hardware and software performance applicable OEM integrated machines; Must be available 24/7 based on business necessity; Up to 80% travel required; Ability to write detailed technical field service reports; Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment; Comply with ABB and customer safety requirements; Candidates must have work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
