Position: Sushi Chef job
About: Atlas Restaurant Group is seeking a Sushi Chef to join our team at Azumi Houston. Atlas Restaurant Group started in 2010 with a Deli in Baltimore’s Harbor East neighborhood and has since grown to operate 50 restaurants, bars, and entertainment concepts across the country. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of related high-volume experience as a Sushi Chef; 2+ years of management experience required; SERV Safe Certification required; experience with back of house administrative and managerial duties; strong knowledge of Japanese cuisines, fish-cutting techniques, and dietary accommodations; exceptional communication, interpersonal, and supervisory skills; ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours; proven ability to teach and mentor kitchen staff; creative thinking and problem-solving skills; strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
