Position: Surgical Technologist
About: UCHealth UCHlth Memorial Hospital North, located in Colorado Springs, is seeking a Part Time Surgical Technician to join the Surgery North department for weekend day shifts. The role involves facilitating safe and efficient surgical procedures, preparing operating suites, ensuring equipment functionality, assisting in patient preparation and specimen processing, all requiring critical thinking and a fast-paced work ethic.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED or Military training; State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration; 6 months of Surgical Tech experience or graduate of an accredited program; BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer; must hold a valid BLS or CPR card through sixty days of hire.
