Position: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Supervisor – Lowell
About: The Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) is seeking inclusive leaders for the position of SNAP Supervisor. The ideal candidate will provide daily supervision of the SNAP unit, ensuring all staff are motivated and empowered in administering programs and services efficiently with a high level of customer service. Requirements: At least five years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, professional experience in social work or social casework, claims adjudication, job placement, recruitment, employment counseling, vocational or rehabilitation counseling, credit investigation, educational counseling, legal advocacy, or legal counseling; strong written and oral communication skills; ability to maintain accurate records and prepare clear, concise narratives; ability to interpret laws, rules, regulations, and policies; ability to gather information through interviewing and examining records; ability to deescalate situations and establish harmonious working relationships; sound judgment and problem-solving skills
