Position: Supervisor, Food Services – Food & Nutrition Services – Full Time
About: Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a Supervisor of Food Services to lead and manage all aspects of the food service operations, ensuring the delivery of nutritious and appealing food to promote wellness for patients. Requirements: High school diploma/GED required; associate/college degree in Nutrition, Food Service Management or related field preferred; bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Food Service Management or related field preferred; Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred. Three (3) years of Food and Nutrition Service Experience required, with healthcare food service experience highly desirable; two (2) years of supervisory experience in Nutrition and Food Service Experience, with healthcare food service experience highly desirable; knowledge of food trends with a focus on quality, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation; knowledge and experience with therapeutic diet preparation; strong leadership, management, and mentoring skills; demonstrated knowledge of applicable health and safety standards; communication skills both written and verbal, and ability to communicate with management, client, customer, and associate levels.
