Position: Supervisor, Food and Beverage
About: Holland America Line and Princess Cruises united as HAP-Alaska/Yukon Land Operations. Requirements: This job normally requires a professional level of knowledge in food and beverage equivalent to that which would be acquired through the completion of some college or equivalent certification; Demonstration of directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement; Must have or the ability to obtain an Alaska Food Handler’s card prior to the first day of work; Must have or the ability to obtain a TAM or TIPS alcohol training card prior to the first day of work; The ability to push, pull, and carry tables, chairs, trays, plates, and chaffing dishes on a daily basis, 20 – 40 pounds; The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, to talk to customers; The ability to work a varied work schedule and overtime work may be required according to business needs; Dedicated commitment to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment is required; Must be able to legally work in the United States as sponsorship for employment visas is not available at this time by Holland America-Princess.
