Position: Supervisor
About: Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital is seeking a dedicated RN Clinical Unit Supervisor for Med Surg/Tele on the 5th Floor. The supervisor will play a key role in managing patient care, nursing staff, and ensuring high-quality care based on the Watson Model. This position involves overseeing staff assignments, maintaining regulatory compliance, leading performance improvement initiatives, and acting as a primary liaison with medical staff.
Requirements: Education: Bachelor of Sciences degree in nursing; Qualifications/Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry nursing, with at least one (1) year of Clinical Unit Supervisor experience. Current California Nursing license; Certification in Medical/Surgical Nursing preferred; Basic EKG Competence. Special Skills/Knowledge: Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish); Basic computer skills; Current Basic Life Support (BLS); Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Experience with Electronic Medical Record preferred.
