Position: Student – Starbucks Barista
About: Under the direction of the Manager of Starbucks, the Barista serves UVU students, staff, and faculty by creating beverages according to the recipes from Starbucks Corp as well as the customers. This position is located at 800 W University Parkway, Orem, in the dining services department of UVU.
Requirements: Must be a current UVU student; Graduation from a standard high school or the equivalent plus three months of experience related to the Summary of Duties; Valid Food Handler’s permit; Must be able to work 4 consecutive hours; Knowledge of effective customer service techniques; Skills in making Starbucks beverages; Ability to repeatedly lift merchandise; Ability to stand for long periods; Ability to communicate with the public effectively; Ability to follow verbal and written procedures and instructions
