Position: Student Event Coordinator (Labor) – Sidelines
About: This is a seasonal, regular student labor position within the Housing & Dining food venue, Sidelines. The Sideliners is an organization focusing on student-led programming in Sidelines, offering events like karaoke nights and watch parties. The Student Event Coordinator role involves organizing and executing karaoke or trivia events, along with setup, hosting, and post-event clean-up duties.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; experience in event coordination preferred; ability to perform heavy physical and manual labor; enrollment in at least half-time for fall/spring semesters (5 hours for graduates, 6 hours for undergraduates); enrollment in at least 3 credit hours for summer semester; strong communication, problem-solving, stress-handling, customer service, dependability, and punctuality skills
