Position: Store Events Coordinator
About: Michaels Stores Inc. in Chattanooga, TN is looking for an Event Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and facilitate events, including kids’ birthday parties, within the store to create a stress-free, fun, and engaging experience for guests. The role also involves delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers with shopping, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience. Operational tasks such as truck unload, merchandise duties, and maintaining store standards are also part of the job responsibilities.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; experience in event coordination and customer service; ability to engage with clients of all ages; strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; retail and customer service experience preferred
