Position: Stewards Utility Cleaner
About: Grand Sierra Resort and Casino is currently seeking a Steward for maintaining the cleanliness of their kitchens. Responsibilities include sanitation of various kitchen equipment, informing supervisors of faulty equipment, using correct cleaning chemicals, maintaining inventory, and more. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements: Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of 1 year experience in Stewarding and/or Environmental Services in a kitchen or restaurant-style setting; have thorough knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and supplies. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual is a plus. Strong mathematical and reasoning abilities, with excellent time management and organizational skills. Must be at least 18 years old and flexible to work all shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
