Position: Steward, Kitchen (Dishwasher)
About: As an important member of the Stewarding/Culinary team at Piedmont Driving Club, you will provide outstanding service to your teammates by ensuring a clean and tidy kitchen area to prevent health or safety hazards. Your attention to detail will shine as you wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans according to operating requirements and club standards. Effective communication with cooks and strict adherence to health codes will be key in this role, along with a readiness to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays in the historic setting of Piedmont Driving Club, a club dedicated to providing excellent facilities for dining, golf, tennis, swimming, squash, and fitness activities since 1887.
Requirements: 16 years or older; Some high school attendance; High school diploma or GED preferred; Previous similar work experience preferred; Food Safety Certification preferred; Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs. Experience in a hospitality environment and some similar experience are highly desirable, with strong organizational skills, ability to establish rapport with co-workers, patience, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, and a team player mindset.
