Position: Statehouse General Manager
About: The Edgewater’s flagship restaurant, The Statehouse, along with Augie’s Tavern and hotel In-Room-Dining, offers a distinctive Madison dining experience with a focus on modern American cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere. The Statehouse General Manager oversees the success of these dining outlets by ensuring exceptional food and beverage service, staff management, and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, restaurant management or equivalent; combined 2+ years of strong leadership and management experience in a restaurant setting; flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently; proficiency in general restaurant operations and financial management; Food Manager Certification preferred; previous hotel food and beverage service experience preferred; working knowledge of boat safety and handling preferred; ability to lift, push, pull a minimum of 50lbs
