Position: State Steward
About: The Illinois Racing Board is seeking a State Steward – 94040 to serve as a presiding judge/official for live race meets in Illinois, ensuring the integrity of racing. This position is crucial for maintaining fairness and overseeing the general health of the horse population involved in racing.
Requirements: Minimum five years of experience in the horse racing industry with a minimum of 3 years as a racing official; minimum two years of experience using spreadsheets and document creation software for reporting; College degree with horseracing or equine emphasis preferred; Minimum of one full race season using TrackManager and ARCI database; ROAP Level III or higher accreditation
