Position: Sr. Special Events Coordinator, The Fund for Johns Hopkins Medicine
About: Johns Hopkins Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) department is dedicated to supporting Johns Hopkins University’s research, teaching, and patient care initiatives, fostering lasting relationships with donors, alumni, and volunteer leaders to enhance the institution’s impact in higher education and medicine.
Requirements: High school diploma or graduation equivalent; five years related experience; additional education may substitute for experience as per JHU equivalency formula; Bachelor’s degree preferred; at least 2 years of event planning or project management experience, preferably in a higher education or healthcare setting with VIP clientele; flexible schedule availability for early mornings, nights, weekends, and potential travel; ability to lift 50 pounds, sit for 8 hours straight, stand for extended periods, navigate stairs, and travel as needed; professional demeanor with donors, vendors, faculty, and staff
Benefits: flexible work schedule, employee group: Full Time, location: School of Medicine – East Baltimore Campus, schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00 pm, starting salary range: Minimum: $44,199 – Maximum: $76,752 (targeted salary: $57,000; commensurate with experience)
