Position: Sr. Program Manager
About: Coherent Aerospace & Defense Inc. is seeking a Program Manager to lead various Directed Energy and Active Sensing development programs and capture new business. This position is hybrid and will support the Longmont, CO and Dayton, OH areas. The program manager will have responsibilities for managing cost, schedule, and technical performance of programs at various levels of complexity within the organization. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 15+ years of relevant experience, master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of relevant experience, or PhD in a STEM discipline and 9 years of relevant experience. Strong background in Directed Energy. Demonstrated success as a project manager, program manager, engineering leader, capture leader, and/or business management related leader of technology-oriented programs. Experienced in leading teams and aligning organization goals with employee objectives. Citizenship required: United States Citizenship. Must have or able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance (or higher). Knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS). Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office products. Excellent communication skills, presentation skills, and team leadership skills.
