Position: Sr. Production Cook
About: Flying Star Foods is the Kitchen and Bakery manufacturing operations for Flying Star Cafe and Satellite Coffee, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We are a 30-year-old company known for delightful handmade bakery desserts and homemade meals.
Requirements: Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in restaurant cooking or commercial kitchen experience preferred; Applicants must be 18 years old and be eligible to work in the United States; Knowledge of kitchen equipment; Food Handling in large production facility; Basic written and verbal communication skills; Ability to work in fast-paced environments; Ability to multitask and organize; Ability to work as a team member; Follow directions and instructions; Ability to stand for long periods of time; Ability to reach, bend, squat, and lift up to 75 lbs. while on shift; Ability to withstand frequent exposure to smoke, steam, high temperatures, humidity, and extreme cold.
