Requirements: Education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Business, or related field; or thirteen years of relevant experience; nine years of experience in emergency preparedness, transportation security, emergency management, and operations; completion of FEMA Independent Study Courses (NIMS – IS 100, 200, 700, 800); ability to adhere to a 24/7 on-call schedule; strong business acumen; proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team environment.
