Position: Sr. Event Planner
About: Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a dynamic global community of changemakers, is seeking a Senior Event Planner to design and deliver events that support the Institute’s fundraising goals and enhance engagement with prospects, donors, alumni, and partners. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree; Five (5) or more years of event planning or fundraising experience in a not-for-profit setting; Valid US driver’s license. Relevant combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered. Requires demonstrated competence in event administration, planning, and implementation; Strong organizational and communication skills; Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Strong commitment to customer service; Ability to work effectively with all campus community members in event scheduling; Ability to manage various social events.
