Position: Sr Coordinator, Public Engagement – Event Liaison (Half-Time, Regular, Classified)
About: The Fort Collins Museum of Discovery (FCMoD), a unique public/private partnership in Northern Colorado, is seeking a half-time Sr Coordinator, Public Engagement (Events Liaison) to lead and support group hosting needs including school groups, special events, and community partner gatherings. FCMoD is an AAM-accredited museum and the only ASTC-affiliated museum in the region, playing a significant role in the cultural and educational life by offering innovative experiences blending science and culture relevant to the community, geography, and shared history. The Events Liaison will work under the guidance of the Group Hosts and Events Manager to coordinate initiatives, programs, and activities, align events with organizational goals, and engage the community effectively.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; experience in event planning, coordination, and management; strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; attention to detail and aesthetics; ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
