Position: SpringHill Suites Newark Liberty International Air – Laundry Attendant
About: The Laundry Attendant position is responsible for maintaining a continuous supply of clean linens for the hotel. The role involves all aspects of linen processing, including collecting, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, storing, and delivering. Additionally, the Laundry Attendant is tasked with cleaning laundry machinery and the designated laundry area.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and experience in a hotel or similar setting preferred; ability to clearly communicate information and ideas; adept at working effectively under high-pressure situations; capable of handling physical tasks like pushing/pulling laundry carts and moving heavy loads; familiarity with laundry processes such as washing, drying, folding, and ironing; understanding of safety protocols in a hospitality environment
