Position: Specialist Fresh Food – Deli/Bakery Merchandising
About: At our company, we focus on growing People, Brands, and Businesses. We are currently looking for a dedicated Training Specialist for Fresh Foods to join our team. This role involves being assigned to a specific geography of customer retail locations, serving as a product expert in handling, displaying, and preparing our client’s products. The responsibilities include ensuring compliance with proper food handling guidelines and conducting training based on customer training manuals. The Training Specialist will be the primary contact person within their designated territory.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; 2-3 years of experience in Retail Supermarket Fresh Departments (Deli, Bakery) or Food Service as Lead Cooks/Meal Prep; Intermediate knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Email, PowerPoint); 2+ years of training, mentoring, and coaching experience; Ability to travel up to 45% of the time (overnight travel required at times); Multi-site (territory) experience preferred
