Position: Specialist Foundation Sponsorships and Events
About: The Danbury & New Milford Foundation, located in Danbury, is seeking a Specialist for Sponsorships and Events to play a dual role in soliciting sponsorships for special events and managing event planning and execution. This position reports to the Manager, Foundation Events and collaborates with the frontline team on sponsorship opportunities.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree preferred; minimum of two years of professional experience in event planning; minimum of two years of fundraising experience; experience working in a healthcare setting or non-for-profit organization preferred; proficiency with Raisers Edge software desired; strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and troubleshoot issues effectively; excellent communication skills; commitment to teamwork and demonstrated cultural competence in diversity and inclusion matters.
