Requirements: Education from an accredited school of nursing resulting in becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse; Current LPN license in the state of work; CPR and AED certification required, or willing to obtain within six months of employment; IV certification required, or willing to obtain within six months of employment; Long-term care experience preferred; Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, visitors, and staff; Time management and organizational skills required; Ability to stand and walk for long periods; Ability to lift heavy objects using proper techniques; Ability to transfer and move patients of varying weights using proper lifting techniques; Manual dexterity and coordination; Visual acuity with the ability to distinguish color; Ability to perform necessary documentation electronically and in writing
