Requirements: Graduate of accredited school of nursing; Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent preferred; Current RN license in the state of work; Completed specialized training in infection prevention and control through accredited continuing education; Three to four years of recent nursing experience with demonstrated administrative and supervisory competency; One year of management experience preferred; Communication, organization, and planning skills required; Ability to stand and walk for long periods; Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with residents up to 200+ lbs; Manual dexterity and coordination skills required; Visual acuity; Must manage a diversity of activities
