Position: Special Interest Class and Outdoor Programs Coordinator
About: City of Buckeye, AZ is seeking a Special Interest Class and Outdoor Programs Coordinator to supervise staff and coordinate the activities of a City recreation program. This role involves overseeing recreation facilities, managing adult and children’s programs, special events, and sports programs.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Public Administration or related field and/or three (3) years recreation program experience including one (1) year of lead or supervisory experience; Knowledge of City policies, basic principles of supervision, management of recreation programs, laws, ordinances, records management, and program management; Skill in applying City policies, inspiring confidence, establishing cooperative relationships, promoting safe work practices, and operating a personal computer with business software; Ability to effectively communicate verbal and written instructions.
