Position: Special Events Supervisor
About: The Community Recreation Department in the City of Coral Gables is seeking a Special Events Supervisor to oversee internal and external events, manage permits, and coordinate various recreational activities. The role involves budget management, vendor oversight, and ensuring the safety and success of all events.
Requirements: Graduation from a four-year college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Leisure Service, Education, Physical Education, or related field is required; Four (4) years experience in event coordination, recreation or related field; CPRP (Certified Parks and Recreation Professional) is preferred; Must have, or obtain CPR/First Aid/Defibrillator AED certification; Valid Florida Driver’s License.
