Position: Special Events Programming Staff
About: The YMCA of Southwestern Indiana, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, is seeking a Special Events Programming Staff to join their team under the direction of the Special Events Engagement Director.
Requirements: CPR/AED, First Aid, Oxygen and Blood Borne Pathogen training required within 60 days of employment; Child Abuse Prevention training required before/on the first day of work; Related work experience in community health and wellness space or B.A. or B.S. in Community Health or similar field; Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; Ability to relate to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments; Ability to recruit and train special event volunteers; Strong creative vision, understanding of brand communications, advertising, and promotions; Effective communication skills, positive enforcement of policies; Excellent problem-solving and member service skills; Self-starter with a passion for service and relationship-building; Excellent organizational and time management skills; Project management skills are a plus
