Position: Special Events Manager

About: The Special Event Manager at a specific resort/waterpark (hotel specific) is responsible for selling and marketing services and entertainment to a diverse clientele, focusing on locals in the area. They aim to create a ‘DBS’ (Different Better Special) experience and generate excitement for the property’s unique offerings tailored for families and kids. Management-level associates are expected to dedicate as much time as needed to fulfill their responsibilities, and overtime applies to OEM associates as per calculation guidelines.

Requirements: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred; 2 years of experience in a similar event management role; exceptional written and verbal communication skills; extensive background in the Entertainment Industry (e.g., concerts, festivals, fairs) with experience in organizing large events; strong organizational and multitasking abilities; excellent problem-solving skills; proficient in Microsoft Office suite; flexible schedule including evenings, nights, and weekends.
