Position: Special Events Manager
About: Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii (BGCH) is seeking a dedicated Special Events Manager to oversee the planning and execution of signature events, annual fundraising campaigns, and other special events to support the organization’s development and fundraising goals. This role will play a vital part in creating memorable and impactful events that contribute to the mission of enabling young people to reach their full potential as responsible citizens.
Requirements: Four-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience; minimum of three years experience in fundraising via special events, communications, public relations, or event management; proven event and project management skills; experience with digital platforms for CRM, logistics tracking, and analytics; strong communication and customer service skills; team player with the ability to work independently; self-motivated and organized; strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; willingness to travel regularly for off-site events and meetings
